I am Beatriz Cea, from Montevideo, Uruguay, a country in South America where we speak Spanish with a Río de la Plata accent, as our neighbours from Argentina.
I am a teacher of Spanish and founder of Espanhol na Rede, a website that offers online lessons and courses since 2010. With a degree in International Relations from the Universidad de la República, I decided that what really resonated with me was teaching languages, and started teaching English.
Then I took my teaching training course at the Alianza Cultural Uruguay-Estados Unidos. After that, a master in Formación de Profesores de Español como Lengua extranjera. And recently, I specialized in the TPRS methodology with the TPRS University workshops by Blaine Ray, the inventor of TPRS.
I have lived in Brazil since 2014. As I first started teaching Spanish to Brazilians, the name of the site is Espanhol na Rede, which in Portuguese means «Spanish on the net». I also created the website Didáctica de ELE, as I also have courses for teachers of the Spanish language, so they can inspire students from all over the world.
With my practical training focused on conversation you reach fluency in Spanish to talk to your work colleagues from Spanish-speaking countries.
